Washington ― The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is awarding at least $17.8 million in grant money to Michigan to purchase 66 electric or low-emission school buses, officials said Monday.
The state is among 67 applicants set to receive nearly $1 billion total through the agency’s first Clean School Bus Program Grants Competition ― part of a five-year, $5 billion program approved as part of the bipartisan infrastructure bill.
